The Curve welcomes Malaysians to enjoy a festive Raya experience at the mall, taking inspiration from the hues and intricate patterns of the songket, to transform its Centre Court into a whimsical Arabesque scene with a contemporary touch.
The influence of songket, a luxurious handwoven fabric steeped in rich history, can be seen in the vibrant green, yellow and pink decor at The Curve, complete with elegant Moorish-style arches and miniature striped domes. With the use of LED lighting evoking the shine of the songket, the candy-coloured décor sparkles festively as it flows from the Centre Court through the Fashion Walk and to the Street.
As is customary for every festive occasion, the Curve is holding its signature musical dance performance at the Centre Court each weekend and on public holidays, with shows at 2.00pm and 5.00pm. One can expect a specially-choreographed extravaganza with stunning costumes during the “Raya Estetika” themed show. Additionally, patrons can enjoy upbeat Raya tunes and musical styles, ranging from keroncong, ghazal and caklempong and serunai fusion, with traditional Malay musical instruments and a modern Malay band.
