Sunway Lagoon’s River Terrapin Conservation Awareness Programme
Sunway Lagoon Wildlife Park has welcomed 4 River Terrapins as part of conservation efforts that include egg collection, incubation, post-hatch care and release of the endangered species. Organised in collaboration with The Department of Wildlife and National Parks of Peninsular Malaysia (PERHILITAN), the programme’s goal is to increase the reptile’s population and raise conservation awareness. Visitors will catch a glimpse of the fascinating animal, which is found only in Southern Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra, Indonesia.
Barking Deer At Sunway Lost World Of Tambun
Meanwhile, Sunway Lost World Of Tambun is set to welcome a pair of rare Barking Deer, or more fondly known as Kijang, as residents of its petting zoo. It’s part of an animal exchange programme with longstanding partner, Zoo Malacca, with the blessing of PERHILITAN. Guests will be able to catch the deer frolicking with the resident mousedeer – a lovely sight!

To mark the first Hari Raya in two years that Malaysians can celebrate with their nearest and dearest, Sunway Theme Parks has organised a special celebration, from 18 April till 2 June 2022, at Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Lost World Of Tambun. Reveling in all things bright, the celebration promises lots of fun attractions and activities!
In park activation and mini shows at Sunway Lagoon
The ‘Cahaya Aidilfitri’ line up, which runs from 10.05am to 5pm daily, includes Giant Bablow, Raya Card Decoration, Giant Batu Seremban, Giant Congkak and Pukulan Raya. The park will also stage a pocket show at Warong from 5.15pm- 6pm, where you can catch up on Sembang Santai, and enjoy Wheel of Dance, a performance, and a photo session.
In park activation at Sunway Lost World Of Tambun
‘Cahaya Aidilfitri’ park activation at Sunway Lost World Of Tambun will take place from 30 April to May 8, 2022. The special Raya activities will run from 10.10am to 2.00pm and comprise a Raya dance performance at Cats Bridge, and a Raya activity at Lupe Stage. From 9th to 13th May, 2022, there will be meet and greet sessions with Raya characters around the park. From 14th to 15th May, 2022, a Lepak Lads performance will be held at Lupe Stage from 2.00pm.
