Cream Of The Cup: Make This CREAMY Plant-Based Coffee, Which Has Beauty Benefits!

I love my coffee smooth and creamy – without compromising on the caffeine dosage! I’m not a vegan, but when I came across this plant-based coffee recipe, I was amazed by how people were raving about its creaminess. So without hesitation, I HAD to give it a try, and also because it’s super easy-peasy to make.

You may raise your eyebrows looking at the ingredients, but trust me when I say, it’s worth a try. So the recipe revolves around four main ingredients – cashews, dates, collagen powder and coffee.

By blending up soaked cashews, you’re essentially making your very own plant-based milk, which is one of the best substitutes for dairy. But honestly, I’d say the real kicker here, that ultimately brings out the velvety component in the coffee, is the collagen powder.

Collagen is associated with many beauty perks, like skin elasticity and hydration, and strong hair and nails. The high-quality collagen powder binds the drink together, creating the ultimate, oh-so-creamy coffee that will make you ask for more.

To make this swoon-worthy coffee, you’ll need:

Ingredients:

¼ cup cashews

2 pitted dates

1 scoop collagen powder of your choice

1 cup brewed coffee

Instructions:

  1. Place cashews and dates in a blender. Pour coffee on top, followed by a scoop of collagen powder.
  2. Stir to combine, then let the mixture soak for around 10 minutes to soften.
  3. After those 10 minutes, blend the mixture until smooth.
  4. Pour into a cup and enjoy!

You can enjoy this drink either hot or cold, but personally, a freshly brewed hot cuppa in the morning or at night while binge-watching your favourite TV series is the best way to go.
