If there’s a celebrity wedding you’d like to get inspiration from, it certainly has to be Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s, which took place at Palm Beach, Florida, recently!
Their elegant black-tie affair was held on Saturday, April 9 at Nelson Peltz’s £76m oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, which accommodated three huge tents. The couple planned a multi-day celebration with a cocktail reception for their guests that arrived on Friday.
Nicola had teased some details of her dress before their nuptials, revealing that the mastermind behind her exclusive wedding dress is Valentino Pierpaolo Piccioli. Nicola’s gorgeous gown featured a square neckline, a fitted waist and a billowing train which was layered underneath her embroidered veil. She paired it with elegant lace gloves and chunky square-toed shoes.
“I have not thought of a specific dress that I want to get married in. So actually finding what that is with Valentino has been really amazing. The creative process has been fun, like finding the perfect fit and fabric,” Nicola said to CR Fashion Handbook.
Brooklyn donned a Yarmulke for his big day, telling Vogue magazine back in February: “Full wedding prep mode and it’s a lot of fun. It’s strange, because the more wedding meetings that we have, the more real it feels. Like it still kind of feels fake, in a way. I’m excited. I’m wearing a Yarmulke.”
“Yes, Jewish wedding,” added Nicola.
According to sources, the nuptials included a traditional Jewish ceremony, with Nicola’s grandmother serving as her maid-of-honour. The “short but sweet” ceremony also featured an elevated runway with water and flowers floating on each side.
The couple exchanged their vows in front of approximately 600 guests and a rabbi.
Mel C, Serena and Venus Williams, Jordana Brewster, Gordon Ramsay, and Eva Longoria were among those in attendance. During the cocktail hour after the ceremony, it was said that David Blaine performed magic for the guests in the second tent, while Marc Anthony dedicated four songs for the newlyweds towards the end of the evening during the reception, in the third tent.
According to sources, David Beckham “spoke about Brooklyn being born, their family life and how great of a mom Victoria is,” as part of his lengthy but touching speech.
