Although Ramadan has only just begun, we’re sure that Muslims worldwide have already commenced preparations for Eid al Fitr, when they don their festive best – including exquisite and opulent jewellery that will complement their ensembles flawlessly.
But we can’t simply adorn ANY type of jewellery – it has to be HABIB, of course! And, fortunately for us, HABIB has finally launched its annual Hari Raya campaign, Rantaian Kasih, with a thrilling selection of special collections!
After two years of Hari Raya Puasa festivities under lockdown, HABIB is looking forward to a more colourful and exuberant Raya this year. HABIB is always happy to promote and display Malaysia’s rich legacy and heritage from its unique local talents as a homegrown heritage brand.
The traditional songket was chosen as an inspiration for its superb craftsmanship, detailed intricacies, and vibrant colours, as well as the skill involved in the weaving of various threads to create beautiful art. By incorporating aspects of songket, this year’s designs include a nice balance of modern, contemporary and traditional styles.
“Ramadan is a beautiful month where families take time to reconnect, do things and share moments together; for buka puasa, terawih prayers and preparation, like shopping for Raya. And this is where the theme Rantaian Kasih takes centerstage for us, embracing the ties that bind among families and loved ones. And we are happy to share in those precious moments.” – Dato Sri Meer Habib, Executive Chairman of HABIB Group.
The campaign has three new brand ambassadors: Anzalna Nasir, a brilliant local actress; and her mother, Puan Azlina; as well as Ms. Erin Adlina, a gorgeous, youthful and inspirational businesswoman. They were picked for their strong, determined, and family-oriented dispositions, as well as their strong aesthetics.
The Rantaian Kasih collection features unique diamond sets, the recent line Oro Italia 916 gold jewellery, multi-coloured treasured gemstones set in 18k white gold, gorgeous striking floral brooches, long chains encrusted with diamonds, diamond bangles with songket inspired motifs, stackable diamond rings, and bracelet sets with pairing rings. For the guys, a variety of Butang Baju Melayu and rings set in silver palladium with diamonds and coloured gemstones are available at varying prices.
The collection doesn’t stop there, as, when it comes to HABIB, bigger is always better. HABIB launched a limited edition Kampung House gold wafer coin set in 999 gold this year. Rumah Perabung Lima, Rumah Kutai, Rumah Minangkabau, Rumah Tradisional Melaka, and Rumah Serambi are among the five distinct rumah kampung styles available in brightly coloured songket-designed sleeves.
These coins may be purchased separately for RM118 or in a package of five for RM590, which includes a lovely display that resembles a wooden wall. These gold wafer coins would be a stunning alternative to offering duit Raya – and making it extra-memorable!
From April 4 to May 15, 2022, HABIB will celebrate Rantaian Kasih in all of its showrooms. Visit HABIB’s website for additional information, or follow them on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
