UNIQLO recently announced that the HANA TAJIMA FOR UNIQLO 2022 Spring/Summer Dress Collection will make its debut on April 15th. Hana Tajima, a New York-based fashion designer, has designed a LifeWear line that offers comfortable and attractive designs that reflect ethnic diversity with a global approach.
This season, a new line of dresses highlights each woman’s individuality and expression when she wears a single outfit.
“This collection was truly a statement of excitement and optimism,” Hana Tajima remarked of the current collection. “I wanted to convey the feeling of comfort and fun. A dress should be the easiest thing to put on in the world. A single piece that is a complete look in and of itself, bold and distinctive. On the body, the delicate features and fabric texture come to life and move with you. The designs and colours encapsulate that liveliness.”

Hana Tajima’s first dress line for UNIQLO embodies a simple and classic style.
The simple and versatile dresses are appropriate for both regular use and special events, and include playful and imaginative embellishments that excite women every time they put one on, while also giving everyday comfort.
Simple, easy designs that highlight the wearer’s personality
Deep blue and green, inspired by nature, are among the collection’s bright colours. Striking dresses with a puffed sleeve design and fabric treated with salt shrinking for higher density maintain a delicate shape with lightweight material. Elegant camisole dresses with flowing hemlines may be used with shirts or blouses to show off the wearer’s personality. Garden floral patterns adorn large stoles that may be thrown over the shoulders to complement any outfit.
