Global clothing retailer UNIQLO recently unveiled a collaboration collection with Ines de la Fressange – an icon and symbol of French Chic. The UNIQLO x Ines de la Fressange 2022 Spring/Summer collection introduces LifeWear, which reflects Ines’ belief in bringing ‘effortless French style’ to the world. The collection is dedicated to true beauty and comfort, always giving a timeless and essential wardrobe.
Modern flair, French chic
Ines’ distinctive French chic style has been revamped for Spring 2022 to reflect the lively attitude of modern times. This season’s collection is focused on sporty items in the tricolour of the French flag, as well as inspiration from Marrakech, Morocco, a popular exotic getaway among French people.
Since her first visit to Marrakech at the age of 13, Ines has been enchanted by the city’s blazing heat and vibrant primary colours. “A destination where you can clear your thoughts, relax, and feel at ease,” she says of the city. The collection evokes a positive mental and physical state of well-being as it ushers in a new season.
Spring and summer feelings abound in this collection
This collection features a range of items in the French flag’s blue, white, and red colours. Knits with hoods and collars are youthful and sporty, while a navy jacket and pants set produces Ines’ signature masculine yet feminine look. The washed-out cotton and linen shirts and jackets, which are reminiscent of a trip to Marrakech, have been prewashed for extraordinary soft comfort. Items with slight floral motifs and checks add to the bright atmosphere. Beautiful shirts and dresses add a pop of colour to any look.
