After a year-long hiatus, the Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation (MUMO) is back in search of the next Miss Universe Malaysia 2022!
If you are a bold, fearless woman who dreams of empowering other young women throughout the world while wearing an elegant crown and sash; and you aspire to be the future Miss Universe – like India’s reigning Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu – then YOU might be who MUMO is looking for!

Date: Saturday, 5th March – Sunday, 6th March, 2022
Time: 10am – 5pm (Saturday); 9am – 12 noon (Sunday)
Venue: MYEG Tower, Level 43A, Empire City, No 8, Jalan Damansara, PJU 8, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Attendees are required to take a Covid-19 self-test before attending the audition. Don’t forget to register at the reception desk before proceeding to Level 43A.
Candidates must meet the following MUMO requirements:
- Non-Muslim Malaysian female citizens only
- Never married nor divorced, or have had a child
- Between 18 and 27 years of age before 1st January 2022 in the year they wish to compete
- Height of at least 168cm
- Able to communicate in any of these languages: English/ Bahasa Malaysia/ Mandarin/ Tamil
- Able to personify all the values and attributes of Miss Universe Malaysia. This includes confidence, strong work ethic, commitment, professionalism, talent, grace, and beauty.
Contestants must be well-groomed with makeup, don high heels, and bring along their Mykad (as well as photocopies), 3 recent photos of their face, and mid-length and full-length shots, which need not be professionally taken.
Miss Universe Malaysia’s winner will have a life-changing experience, including being groomed to become a public figure and having a ready platform to brand herself and support a cause near and dear to her heart. She will also have the opportunity to network with famous, influential persons all over the world, collaborate with major industry players, and serve as the organisation’s face indirectly.
The best part is that the winner will get the opportunity to travel abroad and represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe International pageant.
