If you’re a fan of K-dramas, then you should count the minutes to Saturday, February 12th. That’s when Netflix’s original series Twenty Five, Twenty One premiers – to the delight of countless Korean series aficionados.
The highly-anticipated show centres on a group of kids who lost their ideals in 1998 – and their subsequent wanderings and progress. The series explores the pure and passionate emotions of five young people who have gone through a variety of experiences and relationships.

Twenty Five, Twenty One reunites famed writer Kwon Doe-un and sensational director Jung Jeehyun, who produced Search: WWW, The King: Eternal Monarch, and You Are My Spring.
In addition, a star-studded ensemble that includes Kim Tae-Ri, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Ji Yeon (Bona), Choi Hyun-Wook, and Lee Ju-myoung spangle the show.
Meet the cast of Twenty-Five, Twenty-One:
Kim Tae-Ri as Na Hee-do

Although her high school fencing team was disbanded due to South Korea’s financial crisis of the late 1990s, Na Hee-do (Kim Tae-Ri) continues to pursue her athletic passion and ambitions. Even though she faces many difficulties, Na Hee-do is full of enthusiasm and energy to attain her goals.
Kim Tae-Ri, who has been dubbed as “an irreplaceable actor,” embodies charisma in her cheerful and vivacious role, which will leave viewers with both touching sympathy and a devastating impression.
Nam Joo-hyuk as Back Yi-jin

Nam Joo-hyuk plays Back Yi-jin, whose family was split up mainly due to the financial crisis, but as the eldest son, he takes on all the burdens of his family and becomes a reporter.
With his new part, Nam Joo-hyuk – who has created a wide acting spectrum with achievements in cinema and television – will wow the audience.
Kim Ji-Yeon (Bona) as Ko Yu-rim

She is a part of the national team for fencing. Yu-rim displays great charm while she is fencing, yet she is a pretty adolescent girl behind her costume.
Choi Hyun-wook as Moon Ji-woong

Moon Ji-Woong is an influencer who wishes to join Cyworld (Korean TikTok star in contemporary terms). Ji-Woong is a one-of-a-kind, trendy, and artistic youngster.
Choi Hyun-Wook, who received the Super Rookie Award for his prior roles in Taxi Driver and Racket Boy, will face a new challenge.
Lee Joo-myoung as Ji Seong-wan

She is a brilliant student with a rebellious spirit. Ji Seong-wan, a member of the high school radio crew, provides insight into the daily life of students at the school.
Lee Joo-myoung, who has made a name for herself in a variety of roles, is hoping to reclaim the hearts of her fans.
