AEON sets a precedence in launching the latest collaboration between its own successful, long-time cross-generational brand, Scarlet, with the much sought-after and celebrated fashion stylist, Steven Sunny.
Boldly themed #OwnWhatYouWear, the collaboration features 10 variations of Scarlet’s year-end season arrivals. Presented as a private showcase, Scarlet x Steven Sunny makes a strong statement about the need for fashion to prioritise own wellbeing and self-love to define the season’s style. The campaign features an ample variety of revived clothing pieces tailored towards minimal yet fearless style for the fun and chic looks with a modern touch. All of the pieces were made with having versatile styling options in mind – heels for a formal look, ankle boots for a casual touch, and sneakers.
Steven often draws inspiration for his pieces from people he meets every day. “Every time I design my pieces, I have someone in mind.”

We absolutely adore the Scarlet X Steven Sunny lace ruffled sleeve dress the most, with it’s story being extremely impressive. Firstly, the original dress was a mini dress, but Steven noted that he wanted to add a modern twist to the overall tone of the dress. Appropriately, he altered the neckline into a low V neck and added volume using a layer of tulle fabric lined at the hem with fabric recycled from men’s suits. And for a more feminine touch, he used the same fabric to add more shape to the shoulders.
