If you’ve been glued to Selling Sunset on Netflix, you’d know that it’s not only real estate that is hot and sexy, but the agents as well (or shall we say ‘cast’). The series revolves around the Oppenheim Group, which is a high-end real estate brokerage situated in Los Angeles. Although the highlight of the series is the luxurious, super-dreamy and over-the-top properties, the story predominantly explores the drama and lives of the agents in the brokerage.
The recently-released season 4 is hands down the hottest and most dramatic season of the series so far. We say this because Christine finally pops her baby; a new agent, Emma, joins the brokerage (she has a long-standing rivalry with Christine [that’s so juicy!]), and the drama between the girls and Christine intensifies to the next level (it’s like Mean Girls, but on the highest level of drama!)
So hey, why isn’t Chrishell and Jason’s love affair shown in the season and kept in the dark when they made things official earlier this year?

This storyline was missing from the season because, according to Jason who spoke to US Weekly, it was Chrishell’s decision to keep it on the down-low.
“I think when [a relationship is] public, it puts a lot of just added pressures and publicity and opinion,” the 44-year-old revealed. “I think it’s nice to kind of start a relationship in the way that normal relationships kind of grow and progress. And that’s just between two people.”
He continued: “I think that we were both more comfortable with that approach, and I liked that. I followed her lead on things, and I respected her decision-making on that. I think that that’s the right approach for anyone.”
According to Jason, it was inevitable for the couple to hide their relationship from their colleagues in the office. “We told some close friends, but if you want to keep something private, you have to generally not tell too many people. It’s hard to keep a secret amongst a lot of people.”
“Everyone was super supportive,” he said of the moment they shared the news with their cast mates.
Although we didn’t get to see any juicy romance between Jason and Chrishell in season 4, the sneak peek for season 5 have us on the edge our seats, as it finally reveals their secret relationship! So far, there has been no update as to when the next season will be released, but we’re hoping it’ll come along soon, as we can’t wait to see the cute couple together on screen!
