A new film with a star-studded cast is set to premiere this month on Netflix!
Directed by Adam McKay, the story begins with the incredible discovery of a comet circling within the solar system. Astronomy grad student, Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence) and her professor, Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) suddenly find themselves embarking on a media tour to warn humankind that the comet is on a collision course with Earth. However, the problem is that no one else seems to care about the issue.
With only a couple of months until the comet makes landfall, the troublesome mission of trying to gain the public’s attention to wake up sets a hysterically amusing plot for the audience to follow as the film begs the question:
What will it take for the world to just look up?
The satirical disaster film stars Meryl Streep as President Orlean; Jonah Hill as her son Jason; Cate Blanchett and Tyler Perry as right-wing morning show hosts; Ariana Grande as pop star Riley Bina; and Kid Cudi as DJ Chello; Ron Perlman as Colonel Ben Drask, and more celebrities!
