Great news for J-Culture fans of Malaysia!
From December 16 to 19, 2021, the Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) will host the first-ever Japanese Festival “Konnichiwa Zhongshan,” in collaboration with The Zhongshan Building at Kampung Attap. With over 20 activities planned for the four-day event, art and Japanese culture enthusiasts are in for a treat, with a diversified programme designed to entertain and engage guests.
Enthusiasts of Japanese culture will be able to partake in and experience a wide range of Japanese-themed programmes at the Festival.
Art displays, live music performances, workshops, presentations and food and beverage spreads are what await visitors – setting the stage for a fun day out with friends and family. This one-of-a-kind celebration is a cooperation between JFKL and the community in The Zhongshan Building, with planned activities infused with Japanese culture. Among the many events planned are “Make Your Own Bonsai Kokkedama,” Japanese-inspired drinks, and Letterpress Experience Tour & Make Your Own Christmas Card, to name a few.
Attendees are also able to get rewards by collecting stamps from participating tenants. With a
minimum of 12 stamps, attendees are entitled to a mini gift; they also have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw. 5 lucky winners will receive an ANA TOMY special edition Konnichiwa Zhongshan planner. Throughout the festival, all visitors who collect stamps will be able to redeem unique goodies.
