Mario Dedivanovic, the founder of Makeup By Mario and a fave of Kim Kardashian, recently revealed his tips for creating a lip flip with lip liner. We’ve all heard of over-lining lips to give them a fuller appearance, but this hack uses a more particular technique to offer you that flattering ‘flipped’ impression, which makes the space between your lips and nose appear narrower, and therefore the pout seems more emphasised.
Just over-line at the Cupid’s Bow on the upper lip, at the gap between the nose and upper lip, per the trick. Next, with the pencil slightly move ‘in’ at the sides of your lips (do not overdo the line), and for the lower lip, just over-line at the center.
A lip flip can be done easily by making your lips appear more evenly cushiony and fuller, at the center, as well as accentuating the shape of your top lip look more natural.
After you’ve applied your liners, you’ll want to finish the look with lipstick in the same or a little lighter shade, which will give you the most beautiful finish. I can’t wait to try this out!
