First it was Kourtney who debuted the new short bob haircut, and not long after Chrissy Teigen followed suits. These two beauties literally ditched their long bouncy locks for a shorter appearance. And if you want my verdict, here it goes: I ain’t complaining. Gone are the days where we would only rock long hair, and if the length wasn’t enough, we would clipped in our extensions. I have done it couple of times, I don’t know what’s gotten into me, but I have this vision of ‘’the longer the better.’’
Anyhow, Kourtney first introduced her new hairstyle on August 13th, taking to her Instagram account to share a series of mirror selfies. In the pics, which Kourt captioned simply with a scissor emoji, she rocked a black sports bra and high waisted black pants. Her raven tresses were styled in a chic, tousled ‘do as she offered the camera a sultry pout. The post has now garnered over 3million likes, with the approval of celebrity friends like Hailey Baldwin and Lily Aldrige praising her new looks.
This new hair makeover comes hot off the heels of Kourt declaring her love for boyfriend Travis Barker by way of a bathroom mirror. On her Instagram Story earlier in the week, the reality TV star shared a snapshot of a love note she left the Blink-182 drummer: an “I [heart] you!” scribbled on the bathroom mirror, with their initials interlocked at the bottom of the sweet note. But that’s another story.
And just earlier this week, Chrissy Teigen bid adieu to a few inches of her signature locks and documented the results in an Instagram video shared on Friday, Aug. 20. She captioned the clip with “Cause @kourtneykardash looked so keeeeyute!’’. The Poosh founder, for her part, found the new look very agreeable, as she commented under the post, “Wow” complete with several heart eye cat emojis. Kourtney’s mom and Chrissy’s Safely business partner Kris Jenner also left a comment and called the new chop “GORGEOUS.”
Okay then, BRB I’m gonna chop off my hair since salons and barbershops are able to operate again. *wink*
