Gossip Girl Makes A Killer Comeback Today, July 8th 2021!

A fresh cohort of New York private school teenagers is introduced to the societal scanning of Gossip Girl, as the highbrow series makes a resurgence by showcasing how social media and New York’s landscape have evolved in the last few years.

This extension of the pop-culture classic, developed by showrunner Joshua Safran, a writer and executive producer on the original series, takes us back to the Upper East Side, where a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to social surveillance nine years after the original blogger’s website went dark.

HBO Max has revealed that Gossip Girl, which will air on HBO GO on Thursday, July 8 at the same time as the US.

The series is based on Cecily von Ziegesar’s bestselling novels and the original play, which was created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. The series stars Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak and Savannah Lee Smith! 

Crisp and newfangled, this season of Gossip Girl promises to sizzle it even better than before!
