Really, when it comes to “enhancements of physical appearance” aka plastic surgery, we’re neither for nor against it. Just as long as one is completely sure of what he or she is doing to him or herself, and any implications that may follow suit.
But 29-year-old Singaporean based fashion designer, Jacqueline Koh, takes it all to a whole new level. Over the past several years, Jacqueline has undergone an astonishing ten surgeries to have her face completely transformed. First things first, she wasn’t bad looking to begin with.
So, why?
It all started with liposuction and body reshaping procedures because she apparently had a “few extra pounds” that she just couldn’t lose no matter how hard she tried. Satisfied with the results, she then “voyaged” into an entire series from chin implants to eyelid adjustments, to nose jobs and even the flattening of her ears.
Because she wants to look like an anime type character. And how much did it cost her? Oh, only about SGD136,000 (RM326,400).
Ouch!
She also spends several thousand per year on maintenance regime that includes daily facemasks, weekly skin rejuvenation massages, and biannual Botox and other filler injections. Her last surgery is slated for some time in March, which she claims will be her last.
Well, Jacqueline, we really don’t know what to say about the extreme (and probably extremely painful) surgery procedures. We’re not even sure if it’s worth all the pain or cost. But hey, if it makes you happy, then we’re happy for you.
