As Instagram influencers, life levels up to be exciting as you use experiences to create outstanding content while enriching your own life. As travel influencers, Kelly Castille and Kody Workman AKA Positravelty, turned their special moment into a memorable one by getting engaged underwater. While that is in most of our bucket list as well, the couple who have been together for three years made that magical moment a reality. The couple have a whopping 200,000 followers on Instagram and it continues to grow as they create content while traveling to different corners in the world.
What was supposed to another travel content to feed their Instagram, Workman turned that trip into a moment to remember forever by proposing to longtime girlfriend, Castille, while snorkeling in a cave. Thankfully, the moment was beautifully captured on video.
Castille told Insider she had thought they were simply shooting content for their Instagram account, and was completely surprised when she saw the ring.
“It was very shocking and honestly a little confusing at first!” she said.
“Since we are both professional photographers, he planned this whole outing to make it seem as though it was meant to be a photoshoot — something very common for us — and as a result, I expected nothing.”
“When we started the ‘photoshoot’ I dove down, looked up, saw him open the box and reveal the ring inside and I couldn’t believe that it was actually happening! I was between disbelief and excitement, tears, and laughter once we reached the surface, I had to ask if it was real.”
The whole moment became believable when Workman popped the question “Will you marry me?” Fortunately, she said yes.
Workman said that he bought the ring beginning of the year and was waiting for the perfect moment to make the proposal memorable.
“Maybe it sounds a bit cliché to say, but I knew she was the one from the moment I met her,” he said. “When the trip to Jamaica was planned, I brought it along, hiding it in different parts of the camera equipment bag so she wouldn’t stumble upon it, and crossed my fingers that I would find the perfect place to do it.”
“It was truly the most special moment of my life and I will remember it forever,” said Castille.
