The majestic store surrounded entirely by water is Apple’s first store to have an underwater boardroom located on the store’s lower level, where developers and entrepreneurs alike can conduct meetings with Apple team members.

“We couldn’t be more excited to open the breathtaking Apple Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, building on our commitment to this special place that began more than 40 years ago,” Apple’s retail chief Deirdre O’Brien said in a press release on Monday. “Our passionate and talented team is ready to welcome this community to our new store and deliver the care and support that our customers around the world love.”

The Apple Marina Bay Sands is Apple’s third retail store in Singapore. Since Singapore is a hub for business and travel, it’s no doubt the country is saturated with immensely with diversity. Therefore, the store will feature a diverse set of employees of nearly 150 people who can speak 23 languages.

Due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, the store will adhere to rigorous health measures by including a mask requirement, temperature checks, and social distancing. For that reason, the store will be limiting guest’s capacity for the time being. Visitors to the store have to make an online appointment to reserve a spot.
