It’s been a tumultuous time for the UK-based body and lifestyle brand Crabtree & Evelyn as the company has made a conscious decision to shut down all of its physical stores worldwide following a filing for bankruptcy protection in December last year, citing “significant losses” from the rise of e-commerce and evolving consumer demand.
The only physical store that will be left behind is its concept store in Islington, London, and as for the rest of the world, Crabtree & Evelyn is moving its entire business online. There are already e-commerce sites set up in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, so you can, in fact, still get your hands on your favourite products.
