In the spirit of #REIMAGINEKL, Malaysia’s longest-running creative arts festival, Urbanscapes, will be back by means of a three week-long, city-wide celebration spanning three weekends from the 3rd to 18th November 2018, bringing musicians, visual artists and creative scene-shapers together.
This year’s exciting music lineup comprises “Young, Dumb & Broke” chart-topper Khalid, Wolf Alice, Bodega, Se So Neon, Phum Viphurit, Midnight Fusic and Bil Musa, alongside alextbh, Airliftz, Lunadira, Golden Mammoth, Talitha Tan, Spooky Wet Dreams, Youth Portal and more.
The dynamic festival will also be extending art installations and exhibitions that are free for the public to experience. Three highlights include Immersio 2.0, featuring audio-visual artworks by pioneering and emerging artists, whereas P.oP-pARTy is a freestyle pop-up performance and Wayang @ Warung Panggung: Nu-KL by Hidity Lab is an audio-visual projection.
Completing the festival are talks, markets and community programmes with the aim to generate more conversations about art, music and culture. This encompasses the Make It Happen!: The Conference, ArtTECH by Nollyz, and Kuala Hijau by Biji-Biji Initiative, amongst others.
U Mobile customers will be able to purchase tickets to Urbanscapes concerts two days ahead of the general public and enjoy early-bird prices throughout the festival period, on top of getting access with three of their friends to the U Mobile Express Lane at all music shows.
