The 70th Emmy Award nominees have just been announced, and should you be looking for new material to binge-watch over the weekend, look no further than this list! The Emmys is only airing on September 17, though there is an endless plethora of TV shows you need to catch up on, so what better time to begin now? 😉

Some of the buzz-worthy TV shows nominated include front-runners such as Game of Thrones and American Horror Story. On the other hand, there is also a selection of more under-the-radar shows like Godless and Killing Eve. Speaking of which, there is one historic Emmy nomination that is worth spotlighting!

Grey’s Anatomy alum Sandra Oh, who plays MI5 agent Eve Polastri in the BBC America crime drama Killing Eve, has been nominated for best actress in a drama at the 2018 Emmy Awards and is now the first Asian actress in history to be nominated for that category. People of colour are evidently making moves in the industry and we’re so proud!
