4. ColourPop No Filter Foundation (42 shades, $12, approx. RM48.30 at the time of writing)
Oil-free, lightweight and easily customisable for the exact coverage that you desire, this natural matte foundation is delivered for perfect selfies with innovative soft-blurring pigments that blend seamlessly into the skin, all while looking natural. When it is this affordable, there really is no harm trying too. Good luck deciding on a shade though!
5. Kat Von D Lock-It Liquid Foundation (32 shades, RM179)
Although it is advertised as a full coverage foundation, this particular one is surprisingly flexible and the coverage you get all depends on the amount of product you apply. This hyper-performance vegan foundation promises a matte finish and 24-hour wear that is transfer-resistant, waterproof and fade-proof.
6. Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick (32 shades, RM208)
Stick foundations are intimidating since they tug and aren’t blendable. This one by Hourglass is anything but, fusing the fluidity of a liquid and weightlessness of a powder in one. Its innovative formula blends effortlessly according to the body temperature and leaves a semi-matte finish that is long-wearing and waterproof. A little product goes a long way!
7. M.A.C Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid (31 shades, RM150)
This foundation needs no introduction as it has long been a cult favourite for many makeup artists around the world. There is nothing it can’t do – It lasts a full 24 hours without fading, controls shine, and minimises the appearance of pores and imperfections while feeling comfortable on the skin with a medium to full coverage.
8. Cover FX Power Play Foundation (40 shades, RM207)
Should you have excess sebum that is tough to control throughout the day, this matte foundation will be your best friend as its formula is pumped with ultra-fine, sweat-proof powders that control shine and blur imperfections for the illusion of a smooth and even complexion. Offering medium to full coverage, we love this on without powder.
