Guys, if you haven’t found the time to watch Thailand’s No. 1 box office hit Brother Of The Year, it’s time for you to get on board and check out the trailer above.
The movie is a romantic comedy revolving around a pair of siblings who fight over everything, featuring a nosy sister (Yaya) who’s always on her older brother’s (Sunny) case for being a slacker. Things eventually took a turn when the sister falls for a good-looking half-Japanese boy (Nickhun), turning the brother’s protective mode on.
Directed by Witthaya Thongyooyong, Brother of the Year stars Thai heartthrobs Sunny Suwanmethanont (Sunny), Urassaya Sperbund (Yaya), as well as Korean pop star Nichkhun Horvejkul (2PM), who is Thai-American.
According to All Kpop, the rom-com has successfully topped the Thai box office within four days of its release, garnering over $2 million (66 million Baht). It’s currently the most successful Thai movie this year, and ranks #3 in all movies after Infinity War and Black Panther. What’s more, the movie also wowed many judges at the reputable Cannes Film Festival.
