Back in 2015, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ) blew us away and until this day it has got to be one of the most memorable musical gigs we have experienced. If you’ve unfortunately missed that, you’d be glad to know that Scott Bradlee and his mind-blowing group of musicians will be back in Kuala Lumpur this September for a one-night only performance!
Be ready to be astonished by Scott Bradlee’s trademark vintage twist on modern music in the form of stunning arrangements and impressive covers once again as the PMJ experience is never the same twice. Yeap, there will be new songs and sounds, never-before-seen instruments, and more importantly, new members of the ever-growing family.
Watching any of PMJ’s highly-acclaimed YouTube videos is unlike experiencing them live, and it is on the heralded stage that the project really shines through. To date, PMJ has played over 100 shows worldwide, boasts over 3.2 million YouTube subscribers and amassed over 1.7 million likes on Facebook.
Akin to putting modern music into a time machine, expect unforgettable renditions of popular hits from artistes such as Lorde, Outkast, Maroon 5, The White Stripes, Beyoncé and more. In 2017, PMJ even curated 18 favourites in an album, Squad Goals, with remakes of “MMMbop”, “You Give Love A Bad Name” and “Black Hole Sun”.
