GrabFood Offers Top 21st Century Convenience With Over 300 F&B Merchants

More often than not we favour and crave convenience above all else, and it is exactly that reason that the food delivery technology is effervescently thriving, revolutionising the food delivery industry one service at a time and connecting users to a plethora of options in just a single tap on the smartphone.

While the merging of ride-hailing services Grab and Uber in March had signified the demise of the latter’s food delivery app UberEats, Grab was determined to succeed the on-demand food delivery service and after months of work in progress, Grab has finally announced that GrabFood will officially launch on 28 May.

Connecting customers with mouthwatering offerings, GrabFood is currently available in Mont Kiara, Sri Hartamas, Bukit Damansara and Bangsar, with an expansion to several other areas including Kampung Baru, Chow Kit, KL City Centre, Titiwangsa and Setiawangsa soon, plus more to be announced in the coming weeks.

There are over 300 merchants as of now, consisting of La Juiceria Superfood Cafe, Makirito, Inside Scoop, Devi’s Corner, Humble Chef and a whole lot more. Should you already be a Grab user, your GrabFood account can be linked seamlessly to your GrabPay details. Alternatively, you can create a brand new account with new payment information.

Before ordering, you’d be glad to know that there is no minimum order requirement and that there is a flat rate delivery service fee of RM5 per order. There is also a feature to order meals up to five days in advance, and for every RM1 spent on GrabFood, you will be rewarded with 5 GrabRewards points.

It doesn’t say on its official website, but it would be safe to assume that the GrabRewards system on GrabFood is synonymous with the one on the Grab app, which allows its riders to accumulate points for every ride to later be redeemed for ride discounts and other rewards.

Try GrabFood today by downloading the app on your Apple App Store or Google Play Store. PS: Enter the promo code “GRABFOOD15” to enjoy RM15 off your first two orders! *valid until 30 June 2018.
