If you love minimal bags that are also very functional, we have good news!
Popular bag maker Sometime by Asian Designers has collaborated with New York-based artist/fashion designer Jason Wu to design a practical tote bag series named Edie which will be released on 4th June 2018.
Jason Wu cites the bag’s bold colour block details as reflections of Josef Albers’ square paintings.
“The inspiration for the Edie tote comes from my love of mid-century art and architecture,” he said. Pairing the old and the new, he also said that the modern silhouette of the bag truly reflects the timeless sensibility of the collection.
Available only via Zalora, the Edie tote bag is designed with practicality in mind, crafted vertically with three additional compartments. It closes up with a concealed magnetic hardware, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
The tote bag comes in two sizes and is available in six colours ranging from Slipper, Soft Pink, Creme, Orange, Mustard, and Ultramarine. However, the Ultramarine colour will only be exclusive to Taiwan to honour Jason Wu’s birthplace.
Bag lovers should get ready to spoil yourselves as the tote will retail between the price range of RM569 for the large Edie and RM429 for the mini version.
