It’s been months since the world has been speculating about what Meghan Markle would wear for her royal wedding to British royalty Prince Harry, and the great dress reveal is finally here!
Now known as the Duchess of Sussex, the bride walked down the St. George’s chapel aisle at the Windsor Castle in a magnificent Givenchy gown designed by the French fashion house’s British Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller.
Classic yet effortlessly elegant, the magical gown showcases a demure boat neckline, three-quarter sleeves and a statement train. The silhouette is timeless and infinitely flattering.
Her 16-foot long veil is no less spectacular. There are 53 embroidered flowers throughout the trim of the veil, each representing the British Commonwealth countries.
Lucky for her, the Queen lent Meghan her heirloom Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau tiara straight from her own jewelry vault from 1925. The tiara only made her chic updo look even more majestic.
For jewellery, she pared it down to let her tiara do the talking and is photographed with Cartier diamond stud earrings, alongside a Cartier diamond bracelet on her right hand. Her shoes are also by Givenchy.
Congratulations to the newly named Duke and Duchess of Sussex!
