Exactly Where To Have Your Ramadhan Feasts This Festive Season

What better way to indulge in the great company of family and friends than to feast while doing so? Settling on one spot for your entire entourage can be a challenging task, and luckily we have rounded up some of our picks for your consideration. Check out our listing below:

Hotel Majestic Kuala Lumpur

To celebrate camaraderie during this time of year, Majestic Hotel presents the Festive Variety and Festive Banquet menu. The Festive Variety Dinner at Contango features signature dishes of Malaysia’s nine royal states aside from the Thai, Japanese, Western and Italian cuisine. On the other hand, the Festive Banquet Dinner at the Function Rooms at Level 3 showcases over 100 classic Malay recipes including the Kambing Percik.

Both held from 15 May to 14 June, the Festive Variety Dinner at Contango is priced at RM145 nett per person whereas the Festive Banquet Dinner is priced at RM125 nett per pax. Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur

Shangri-La’s Lemon Garden dinner buffets is one of the most popular ones out there and for the festive season, you’ll get all your usual favourites and more. The wondrous buffet menu will be expanded for a limited time only from 15 May to 14 June 2018 and you can expect an array of Malay delights such as barbecued meats, apam balik and more. Yes, the entire assortment of fresh seafood, plethora of desserts and everything else will remain!

The Festive Dinner Buffet is priced at RM198 nett per person from Sunday to Thursday and the Festive Seafood Dinner Buffet is priced at RM228 nett per person from Friday to Saturday. The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur

To commemorate the celebrations, The Astor Room at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur will be decked out with flowers and festive decorations for its Barakat & Syukur buffet banquet. Expect to relish in signature dishes including chicken and beef rendang, Jenahak fish head curry, slow-roasted grass fed Australian lamb, as well as a selection of French desserts inspired by Malaysian flavours such as Teh Tarik Creme Brûlée, Choux Cendol Paris Cream and more.

TPC Kuala Lumpur

The Selera Muhibbah dinner buffet at TPC Kuala Lumpur doesn’t just allow you to indulge; it also gives back as for every buffet voucher sold, RM1 will be contributed to underprivileged homes. There are 22 stalls in total showcasing authentic traditional dishes such as daging masak merah, telur itik masak lemak cili padi, assam laksa, popiah and more. Desserts include bubur manis, pisang goreng and kuih Melayu, amongst others.

Early bird Selera Muhibbah vouchers are priced at RM95 nett per adult from now until 18 May 2018, and vouchers will be priced from RM110 per adult thereafter, whereas it is RM47.50 for children aged between 6 and 12. New World Petaling Jaya

Delight in a lively market-style set-up at New World Petaling Jaya’s Pasar Baru this festive season, with over 100 mouth-watering local and traditional Malaysian delicacies on offer. Begin with fresh imported seafood including succulent crabs and prawns before trying the roasted lamb, signature made-to-order satay, ulam-ulam as well as the decadent desserts. Choose from freshly made crepes, Malay kuih or try your hand with the soft-serve ice cream machine.

Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur

Celebrate this festive season with an authentic Malaysian dining experience at Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur’s The Snug featuring traditional Malay offerings and other specialties including sup ekor and sup ayam, beef rendang and assam pedas, alongside a selection of desserts to cap off your iftar meal, all representative of the neighbourhood food of Jalan Kamunting where the hotel is situated.

Hilton Kuala Lumpur

Vasco’s at Hilton Kuala Lumpur will be highlighting all-time favourites of all Malaysians through its festive spread featuring over 200 authentic dishes served from the in-house kitchen with specialties from every state, such as the gulai daging from Perlis and Nasi Dagang Ulek Mayang from Terengganu. There will also be a Kuih Loyang cooking demonstration courtesy of Chef Deen.

Available from 17th May through to 17th June 2018, the festive spread is priced as follows: 17th May to 21st May 2018 – RM100 nett per adult; 17th May to 17th June 2018 – RM188 nett per adult and RM100 nett per child between 6 and 11 years old; and 13th to 17th June 2018 – RM100 nett per adult. JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur

Presented at Shook Restaurant, Feast Village Starhill Gallery, JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur’s Kampong festive dining menu presents over 138 traditional Malay creations, all inspired by recipes passed on through generations. Expect to find specialty stalls offering rojak buah, ikan bakar, nasi ayam and more alongside a spread including rendang daging, nasi briyani, sup ekor, bubur lambuk and more.
