Oh no.. Our ex-Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad’s The Loaf lifestyle bakery bistro will be no more in the coming few months as plans to shut down all of its 12 outlets have just been revealed.
The Loaf has been in business for 12 years, and its outlets are located at Telaga Harbour Langkawi, Avenue K, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Empire Shopping Gallery, and Sogo, amongst others.
Though all-day food offerings are aplenty at The Loaf, it is best known for its freshly baked pastries, sandwiches, desserts and coffee.
The company that runs The Loaf, M&M Consolidated Sdn Bhd, has cited financial losses in the past few years, and looming competition from too many similar businesses.
