Don’t get us wrong – we cannot live without K-beauty. There’s just something about South Korean innovation and ingenuity that, more often than not, surpasses the entire world as far as beauty is concerned, but should you own any of these 13 products in your makeup stash somewhere, get rid of them immediately.
The Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety recently listed 13 products sold by some of South Korea’s most notable beauty brands that were found to contain excessive amounts of antimony – a metal substance that can cause gastrointestinal disorder and eye irritation – that far exceeds the permissible level of 10 micrograms per gram.
The sale of these products has been immediately suspended and a recall was ordered on March 19. Some of these brands include 3CE, Etude House, Black Monster, Skinfood, and more. Check below to see if you own any of these products:
