From 19 – 23 March 2018, Nook, Aloft KL’s executive Chef, Arfizan Abdul Rahim, will be honouring the merits of French cuisine to celebrate the spirit of Gout de France (Good France) with a sumptuous 4-course French menu.
Epicureans can experience the fun, colourful and luscious flavours of Chef Arfizan’s excellent French creations, which represents appetising hearty meals using fresh and seasonal produce, synonymous to the main values of French cuisine.
Diners can indulge in the exquisite French delicacy with an entrée of Foie Gras Torchon, Mango Gel, Fig Marmalade & Brioche followed by a classic French soup, Tomato Consomme, Terrine of Tomato with Crispy Tuilee.
The dish is tasty, appealing to the eyes, and most importantly, the chef is pretty generous with the foie gras.
For the main course, Chef Arfizan serves up a Deconstructed Classic Beef Bourguignon, Saffron Boulangere Potato and Baby Vegetables, a classic French main course dish of stewed beef with Demi-glaze. Although the beef may look small in the picture below, trust us, it’s more that we could take. Delicious and satisfying.
The night ends with the Galette des Rois, a puffed pastry pie with almond filling for a delectable note to end the dinner. It was a good palate cleanser as the fruits are both sour and sweet, which doesn’t leave you feeling queasy after stuffing your tummy with all those delicious meals.
P/S: Nook is now certified halal.
Priced at RM180 nett, the Gout de France promotion will take place at Nook’s Private Dining Room and diners are encouraged to place their reservation at (60) 3 2723 1188 or visit Aloft KL.
