Listen up, folks!
The iconic 80-year-old board game which we all love and also kinda hate, Monopoly, has finally found a nice piece of land in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to build it’s first hotel establishment — called the Monopoly Mansion.
After two years of discussion, property developer M101 Holdings Sdn Bhd has confirmed that they will be partnering with the US toy company Hasbro Inc for the world’s first Monopoly-themed hotel, which will be managed and operated by M101’s Sirocco Group.
P/S: They are the same peeps who manage Asia’s first Planet Hollywood Suites in the upcoming M101 Skywheel building, the first Ferris Wheel Skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur.
Equipped with a rooftop pool, sky lounge, and a spa, the five-star, 225-room hotel will be housed at M101 Bukit Bintang, which to date, is structurally completed.
The Monopoly Mansion is set to resonate with the distinctive character of the Monopoly game and 1920’s Gatsby feel, harkening back to Monopoly’s origin, which was initially called The Landlord’s Game back in the day.
So far, so good. Are you excited for the launch of the world’s first Monopoly Mansion? We know we are!
Stay tuned for more updates.
