Ditch Tinder, Because TillJannah. My Is Here To Help Muslims In M’sia Find Love

Online dating. Singles looking for love now don’t have to go beyond the comfort of their phones to get connected with other lonely lovely souls. There are so many services out there, however, very few that take into account the competing pressures people of the Muslim faith have.

Enter TillJannah — which is technically like Tinder, but meant to be just for Muslims residing in Malaysia.

For those who are not familiar, Jannah is often referred to as the highest layer of heaven, paradise, or Garden of Eden; where Adam and Eve first met.

So, when you see people include the hashtag #tilljannah in their social media captions, it simply means that they want the friendship/relationship to last forever and with God’s willing, meet again in the afterlife.

It’s not your typical seedy dating app

Not that we’re saying ALL dating apps are seedy (they definitely are), TillJannah’s party line states that the website is dedicated to help connect progressive, smart, fun, and interesting Muslims with each other.

As can be seen in the image taken from the website below, TillJannah highly stresses on the importance of sharia law in dating, which includes the restriction of meeting your potential life partner both indoors or outdoors without a chaperone, as well as to avoid engaging in sexually explicit telephone conversation, among others.

Avoid talking about stuff that might get the both of you aroused too because even though it’s just like Tinder, the Muslim-focused dating portal really wants you to keep it halal.

P/S: You can also set up a new dating profile for a friend or a family member, so.. 😛

Apparently, there have been a number of successful matches, as some fortunate users are already planning to take their relationship to the next level and deactivating their account to get married to their newfound love.

Though some lucky people may have found true love on TillJannah.my, others just can’t cope with the portal’s existence 😂:
