It was shocking for many to learn that Phoebe Philo is parting ways with Céline after almost a decade, but before she officially leaves the French brand, the designer has created something special that would have fashion enthusiasts obsess over.

First spotted at the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway show in Paris, the Céline logo plastic shopping bag will be available for purchase as a set with the brand’s leather clutches and oversized coin purses.
The bag seems to be made of a thick plastic made to mimic the look of a standard plastic bag. Featuring the label’s name in their classic font, the only other design marker is a warning label printed in four different languages, that reads: “To avoid danger as suffocation keep away this bag from babies and children.”
The iconic clear bag is definitely an investment piece — and a conversation item. Pair it with Balenciaga’s Arena tote, which upgraded IKEA’s $0.99 blue bag to a cool $2,145, or simply DIY one for yourself!
Ringing in at $750 (RM2929) each, the bag is scheduled to debut at a Céline x Nordstrom pop-up in Seattle in the US in May. It’s unclear if it will be available in Malaysia, but if it is, we’ll let you know.
