Last year, we witnessed some of the most bizarre eyebrow trends to hit the internet. There was everything from the Christmas tree to barbed wire looks, and just when we thought these crazy brow trends were a thing of the past, they are back. Fishtail brows are now trending.
Beauty influencer and entrepreneur Huda Kattan shared a series of selfies on Instagram of herself and two other popular trendsetters sporting highlighted skin and eyebrows with fishtail-shaped ends. She asked followers in her caption if they were, “digging this look?”

The pointy, slightly devilish looking brows spread like wild fire after the Huda Beauty founder posted an Instagram edit that she was sent by a fellow beauty influencer @skyzeditz who has worked a bit of Photoshop magic to achieve the look – and fellow bloggers are now emulating the look with makeup.

But don’t worry; you don’t need to dig out a razor to get the sleek, gappy effect.
Fans have tried real-life fishtail brows by pencilling in the upper half of their fish tail and concealing a section of their real brow to create a gap.

Others chimed in with mixed thoughts on the unusual brow look too. One person shared, “This is so me. Naturally my eyebrows go up and down like a fishtail.” Another liked it as well and wrote: “its lowkey pretty.”
In contrast, another Instagrammer wasn’t feeling it at all and replied, “No. Just no.”
