Cartoon Network was the absolute shizz back then while we were growing up, and while the television network consistently comes up with brand new animated content, those masterpieces from the ’90s were gold, and truthfully, will remain evergreen until the end of time. That said, you can now relive those memories in the form of a cruise.
Brought to you by Turner and Oceanic Group, the 11-guest deck and 2,000 guest Cartoon Network Wave cruise ship will offer an immersive experience themed around Cartoon Network’s universe of iconic cartoon characters, including those from The Powerpuff Girls, Adventure Time and We Bare Bears.
Set to depart for the first time ever from its home port of Singapore by late 2018, the cruise ship, which houses a variety of entertainment, activity, recreation and food and beverage options, will be sailing across Asia Pacific to 13 destinations such as South Korea, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and more.
To be fair, Cartoon Network Wave main target audience is probably families with young children, but it is also set to be an experiential journey for generations of pop culture fans (including us). Amongst its highly-anticipated attractions are the Rope Adventure Park, Night Glow Party, Power Cage and more!
Online bookings will begin later in the year, so keep watch for more updates and itineraries via www.cartoonnetworkwave.com.
