2018 starts off with a remarkable momentum as legendary rapper and one of Asia’s leading hip-hop stars, Joe Flizzow, is crowned as the first Hublot Friend of The Brand in this country. (In other words, the ambassador).
Joe Flizzow’s outgoing personality, long-term standing in the music industry and passion for watches, goes strongly with Hublot’s values as he fully embodies the brand’s philosophy of being first, different and unique –a true match between the Swiss watchmaker and the artist born and raised in Kuala Lumpur.
Sharing what it means for him to be the friend of Hublot, Joe said, “Hublot is a brand that I carry in my heart. I am proud to represent our unique shared values to the world”.
The star continued, “Last October I had the pleasure to develop a friendship with the Hublot team during “The Art of Fusion” event in KL where I performed for the guests. It is truly an honour to be invited to join the Hublot family with such an impressive roster of acting and sporting greats, and I am looking forward to this new role”.
Regarded as a world-renowned hip-hop artist who has put Malaysian hip-hop on the global map, the award-winning Malaysian rapper, producer, and songwriter has helped define the genre’s sound in Malaysia and is widely recognised as an influential figure in the hip-hop music scene.
Not only a successful rapper, Joe is also an accomplished figure as well as an inspiring and devoting individual. In 2006, he founded one of the biggest independent Asian music labels, Kartel Records which has become a household name in the music industry with prominent artists signing under the label.
Joe Flizzow is the first Malay celebrity tapped as Hublot’s ambassador, joining the brand’s portfolio of great international friends including, Turkish actor Kerem Bürsin, Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama, American football player Eli Manning, and Romanian World Number 1 tennis player Simona Halep.
Kudos, Joe! To learn more about the brand, head over to Hublot or connect with them via Facebook.
