A few years back, the family of British newcomer Millie Bobby Brown were straight up broke and yet they chose to sacrifice everything to make her Hollywood dreams come true.
Fast forward a few years later, the 13-year-old actress who broke out as Eleven – the orphan with telekinetic powers – on Netflix’s sci-fi television series Stranger Things had now become a global sensation in her own right.
And if you are convinced her performance in Stranger Things was top-notch, her career is only going upward from there – The young actress just signed a major deal with Legendary Entertainment and it is going to be HUGE.
Brown will be starring and producing a multi-film mystery franchise based on Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries novel lineup and that’s right, she will be playing Enola Holmes (the younger sister of famed detective Sherlock Holmes).
The award-winning book series started with the 2006 title The Case of the Missing Marquess and now spans six novels in total, detailing mysteries investigated by Enola who evidently isn’t just living in her brother’s shadow.
You go, girl! <3
