If Harith Iskander isn’t posting loving stories about his brilliant wife Dr. Jezamine Lim on Instagram, he is somewhere around the world slaying it what he does best – stand up comedy; so much so that he bagged The Funniest Person in the World title in 2017, making Malaysia very proud.
Now, the comedian is adding yet another notch in his belt by being the first Malaysian comedian to be a part of a Netflix original production featuring Southeast Asia’s most renowned names in comedy. Titled I Told You So, his one-hour comedy special will showcase his talent as a compelling storyteller through his distinct humour.
Debuting on January 19, get ready for a good dose of laughter as Harith’s I Told You So teases about family drama and awkward dating experiences, as well as relatable social and cultural issues we encounter on the daily. Additionally, Netflix is featuring Singaporean Fakkah Fuzz and Malaysian Kavin Jay in their own specials.
Harith Iskander’s I Told You So will be premiering January 19 on Netflix, followed by Fakkah Fuzz’s Almost Banned on January 26, and Kavin Jay’s Everybody Calm Down! on February 2.
