Hell yes!! Popular ’90s Irish boyband Westlife who has under its belt hits like “If I Let You Go”, “Fool Again” and “Swear It Again” is making a comeback, but unfortunately, Brian McFadden won’t be a part of it.
The boyband, previously comprising Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan and Brian McFadden, made their name under the guidance of X Factor judge Louis Walsh.
Walsh explains, “Brian won’t be involved, it will be the Fab Four. Totally.” McFadden left the boyband in 2004, and Walsh added, “The four of them just see themselves as Westlife.”
“No, I prefer a happy band and four happy people,” insisted Louis. “They all know each other, they all respect each other. Three of them live in the same town in Sligo, so it makes more sense.”
Westlife fans, you’re definitely in for a treat as just last month, Walsh confirmed that the reunion will be for “a few tours and a new album”.
During its 14-year run, Westlife successfully achieved 26 Top 10 hits, and of course, we’re more than familiar with the boys’ work! In the meantime, here’s “If I Let You Go”.
