Canon Malaysia has unveiled the super sleek EOS M100 — the newest addition to its EOS M series of mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras.
Capturing images with the speed and precision of a DSLR camera while still facilitating the easy operability of a smart phone camera, the EOS M100 is the perfect complement to modern lifestyle photography trends of capturing self-portraits, close-up food shots and sweeping landscapes.

Weighing merely at 302 grams, the EOS M100 is designed in a compact and stylish form with optimised dial and buttons for easy operability. It is also equipped with 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD that enables quick adjustment of the degree of brightness, background defocus, self-timer and even Smooth Skin level options.
2. User-friendly Creative Assist feature
Users can configure and save up to six Creative Assist settings for frequent use, and exchange setting information with other cameras by using the Creative Assist feature to broaden their range of photography expressions.
3. Capture moving subjects with precision
To guarantee high speed and precision, Dual Pixel CMOS AF employs phase detection auto focus (AF) technology when tracking and shooting moving subjects, allowing users to capture fast-moving moments and shoot even in the most challenging lighting conditions.
4. Explore Cinematic Expressions in Full HD
The EOS MOVIE feature allows users to create movies in Full HD at maximum 60p, thanks to its in-camera Combination IS function that allows users to achieve stable shots even when using a lens without an image stabilisation function.
5. Easy Connectivity
With Wi-Fi, NFC connectivity and the Canon Image Gateway app, users can easily pair their cameras to their smart devices for ease of sharing the fun moments through other social media platforms. Additionally, the Bluetooth constant connection allow users to view images and start remote capture from the camera even when it is in Auto Power Off mode.
On top of that, introduced alongside the EOS M100 is the Canon SELPHY CP1300, designed to offer convenient and instant high-quality photo prints, perfect for photography enthusiasts who are always on-the-go.
