Picture this – you just got your hands on the latest iPhone X and the next thing you know, you DROPPED it and shattered the screen! That’s probably everyone’s worst nightmare, considering that it burns a hole to our purses every time our Apple products need fixing.
Well, fret not, your issues have been addressed as Machines officially launched a Machines Protection Plan (MPP) – a device protection plan for Malaysian Apple users. The devices under the coverage of the MPP include the Apple Watch, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, as well as the iPhone 8 Plus and new iPhone X.
Depending on the device models, the MPP ranges from RM299 to RM899, covering customers with one screen replacement OR one full device replacement within the two-year coverage period. That’s as low as 42 cents per day, so you do the math!
But take note of this – While the MPP covers the cost for parts and labour, a service fee ranging from RM249 to RM499 will be charged on top of that if you are looking for a full device replacement. Well, it’s still pretty worth it you know, especially if you’ve got butter fingers or you’re just always clumsy.
