Have you seen the Amazing Race a competition where the contestants have to travel around the world and complete unique tasks? Well, Red Bull’s latest challenge program — Red Bull Can You Make It? — is similar to that, but with a twist!
In this challenge, Red Bull cans are used as a currency for food, a place to sleep, transportation to the next location and other adventures that make the experience legendary. Teams will have to be inventive, quick on their feet, and make full use of their wits and negotiation skills to make it to the finishing line.
On 6th March 2018, 200 teams will be chosen from 60 countries around the world from nearly every continent, and will depart from one of the five starting points in Europe – Budapest, Madrid, Manchester, Rome and Stockholm. Each team will hand over their cash, credit cards and personal phones and have one week to make it to the final destination, Amsterdam!
But wait, the unfair part is — this competition is only open for university students.
Here’s how you can join:
Step 1: Gather a team of three friends. You’ll each need to be a current university student. International students residing in Malaysia are also eligible to enter.
Step 2: Then, create a one-minute-long video explaining why your team should be chosen and submit it no later than 14th February 2018. Be sure to share what makes you smart, clever, travel ready and primed for the adventure of your life.
Step 3: The next step is to earn online votes before getting to the starting line. After the voting period ends, a panel of judges will select a team to be Malaysia’s representative. They will then be invited to fly to Europe to begin their adventure.
