Seems like Malaysia is really feeling the love from BIGBANG as of late! On top of live gigs by members Taeyang and G-Dragon recently, the K-pop band’s youngest member Seungri also made an appearance in KL back in August for the official opening of YG Republique.
And now, fans of BIGBANG are even more elated as Seungri just announced that he is bringing his popular ramen restaurant, Aori Ramen, here to Kuala Lumpur this June!

All die-hard fans of BIGBANG and Seungri will know that the South Korean singer-songwriter is obsessed over all things Japanese, and in December 2016, the 26-year-old idol hatched the first Aori Ramen outlet in Cheongdam-dong.
We’ve only ever heard good things about the singer’s Aori Ramen, and nope, it’s not just because it’s operated by him! His ramen eatery now has a footprint of 14 branches, and Malaysia’s up and coming outlet will mark the 15th.

Aori Ramen is famed for its tonkotsu ramen, a traditional Hakata-style ramen served in mouth-watering pork-based broth and topped with tender chasu pork belly, so we reckon that his Aori Ramen branch will similarly be non-halal.

It will be located on Level 6 of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and will be open on 9 June 2018!
