The holiday season is fast approaching, and being everyone’s favourite time to travel, there’s no question about the spike in airport congestion.
Queue lines will be exceptionally longer, and as if waiting for three hours wasn’t bad enough, AirAsia just released a statement reminding guests to arrive at the airport FOUR hours before their flights this year end.
To make matters worse, AirAsia added in the statement that there will be upgrading works for several counters at klia2 beginning November 20.
“AirAsia would also like to remind guests to conduct self check-in via our web, mobile or kiosk services for a smoother journey at the airport, as there will be upgrading works involving several counters at the klia2 starting Nov 20.
“Web, mobile and kiosk check-in services are available from 14 days and up to one hour prior to departure for all AirAsia flights and up to four hours prior for all AirAsia X flights,” the statement said.
If you want a hassle-free holiday without having to risk missing your flight, you should damn well take note. Happy holidays!
