Good things come to those who wait.
After six years of walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Brazilian-born VS Angel Lais Ribeiro revealed that she will be wearing this year’s stunning, $2 million jewel-covered ‘Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra’ for the first time.
“I’ve been holding this secret for too long and I am beyond honoured to announce that I will be wearing the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra this year!” Ribeiro wrote on Instagram.
“I am very happy and thankful for my Victoria’s Secret family for trusting me and all the support from my on family, friends and fans! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”
Needless to say, she’s pumped about it. “I never cried so much in my entire life — and I have a baby,” Lais disclosed. “It was so emotional. I couldn’t believe it when they told me. It was so beautiful.”
Well.. this is no ordinary bra. Jeweller Mouawad covered it with 600 carats of diamonds, yellow sapphires, and blue topaz in a process that took almost 350 hours. It’s valued at $2 million, which is a million dollars less than last year’s Fantasy Bra.
