British fashion model and feminist activist Adwoa Aboah has just been announced as the latest face for Marc Jacobs Beauty in 2018, and the 25-year-old of British and Ghanaian descent will be showcased on all of the beauty label’s campaigns, including in-store materials and across all media platforms from late 2017.

Shot by David Sims, Aboah’s first official campaign for Marc Jacobs Beauty features creative direction by Katie Grand, makeup by Diane Kendal, hair by Guido Palau and nails by Jin Soon Choi. The fashion sensation sports Marc Jacobs Beauty’s latest Spring 2018 collection, spotlighting the Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon which will debut this December.
The Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon is an innovation in itself as it is the first-ever liquid lipstick to take on a form of a crayon that delivers powerful pigment that lasts with just one swipe. Wave goodbye to messy applications as the crayon tip allows for better precision and control, whereas its shimmery “ghost pearl” adds unbelievable dimension with a 16-hour wear.
“Marc gave me my very first fashion show in New York City. It was a dream come true and from that point on, he has been one of my biggest supporters. I am so excited to be the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty, and to have been able to work alongside Marc once again is truly inspirational. His attention to detail is like no other and you see his vision instantly come to life, ” mentions Adwoa Aboah.
She joins the ranks of other influential women including Winona Ryder, Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell, Aya Jones and Kaia Gerber, who were or are currently serving as faces of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
