At the recent Hollywood Bowl, Linkin Park debuted a new song “Looking for an Answer”, written by Mike Shinoda right after Chester Bennington’s death three months ago.
The beautiful yet heartbreaking tribute goes something like this, “There’s an emptiness tonight/ A hole that wasn’t there before/ And I keep reaching for the light/ But I can’t find it anymore”
“Have I been lost all along/ Was there something I could say/ Or something I should have done.”
And while Shinoda was singing, his voice cracked a few times, but it was perfect as he questioned whether he could have saved his brother. You may need tissues for this..
