The new X-Men spin off film trailer The New Mutants, is here and it’s straight-up horror movie material.
This isn’t your usual X-Men/Marvel film. There’s no hero’s journey with a dash of interpersonal drama yadda yadda. It’s basically a horror movie, starring young people with extraordinary abilities they can’t seem to control just yet. 20th Century Fox’s The New Mutants is set to make its debut on April 13th, and its brand new take on the same old story already seem pretty riveting.
Stars like Blu Hunt and Game of Thrones‘ Maisie Williams play powerful and volatile young adults stuck in an eerie hospital that looks more of a “haunted house”. From the looks of it, the film seems to be one of those “survive the night” types. But alas, we won’t know until the film comes out on April 13, 2018.
